Frisco Teen Charged with Aiding Girlfriend’s Suicide

FRISCO (WBAP/KLIF News ) – A Frisco teen has been arrested for allegedly aiding his girlfriend’s suicide.On November 20, 2023, officers responded to what they said was suspicious activity at Frisco Commons Park, according to the Frisco Police Department.

They discovered the dead body of a 17-year-old girl in the pond.

After an extensive investigation, investigators determined that 18-year-old Zander Tashman of Frisco had aided his girlfriend in the suicide.

Tashman was arrested on Sunday, February 18th, and is charged with aiding suicide and is facing up to two years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000.

Frisco Police are encouraging anyone who knows someone struggling with their mental health and contemplating suicide to be their voice and seek help for them.
