College football players across the country are gearing up for the 99th annual East-West Shrine Bowl.
“It allows collegiate All-Stars to show off their skills for NFL scouts,” Chief Marketing Officer, Mel Bower, said. “And they play the East-West Shrine Bowl to benefit Shriners Children’s. By coming out to watch the game, all the proceeds support the mission of Shriners Children’s Healthcare Systems.”
He adds that this serves as a chance for patients to have some fun and distract them from the many obstacles they might be facing.
University of Texas Head Coach Steve Sarkisian will also be inducted into Hall of Fame during event.
The game will be broadcast on the NFL Network on February 1st at 7 p.m., and will take place at Ford Center at the Star in Frisco.
