DALLAS – (WBAP/KLIF) – A 12 year old boy died and three other children were injured in a southeast Dallas crash Thursday morning when their SUV ran into a tree.
It happened near Caspian and Lasater Road, near Interstate 20. Dallas Police confirm a 12 year old passenger died at the scene; the 12 year old boy driving was injured, as were other 12 and 11 year old passengers.
Witnesses reportedly told police the SUV was speeding before the crash; a relative of one of the kids is reported as telling police the driver and a passenger were arguing before someone yanked the steering wheel, causing the crash.
