AUSTIN – (WBAP/KLIF) – Elon Musk is planning to open up his own university in the Lone Star State. The school would be located in Austin, and would focus on preparing students for careers in STEM fields.
According to a tax filing by Musk’s charity, “The Foundation”, the new university would employ experienced professors in math, science, engineering and physics. The university would also seek accreditation by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges.
In addition to building the new university, Musk is also planning to contribute $100 million to build stem focused K-12 private schools as well.
