WYLIE (WBAP/KLIF News ) – A Collin County woman accused of taking a child in her care to several photoshoots in which the victim was put in sexually explicit poses has been sentenced to 32 years in prison.
40-year-old Stacey Jurik of Wylie was convicted of Continuous Sexual Abuse of a Child.
Prosecutors said in 2021, Jurik contacted to a photographer named Grant Durtschi, who traveled the country taking photos of children posing partially and fully nude.
He would then sell their photos to pedophile on social media.
Jurik was aware Durtschi produced child pornography and arranged for him to photograph the child.
She brought the child to numerous photoshoots with Durtschi from 2021 through early 2022, according to a press release.
Prosecutors said Jurik received payment from Durtschi for each of the photoshoots as well as a large percentage of the proceeds that he made from selling the photos online.
“What Jurik put this child through is unthinkably disgusting. Then to also profit from the pornographic pictures of the child makes us all want to throw up,” said Collin County District Attorney Greg Willis after sentencing.
Jurik is not eligible for parole.
