DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News ) – Four days after someone dropped off a little girl at the emergency room at Baylor University Medical Center on Gaston Avenue, The Texas Department of Family and Protective Services says family members have come forward to identify her.
Texas DFPS said Tuesday the little girl, who is believed to be six years old, would only say her name is Alejandra as they pleaded with the public to help find out who she is.
It’s believed a woman, possibly the girl’s mother, may have left her at the hospital.
She’s currently in the care of DFPS as officials explore options for placing her with the family members that helped identify her on Thurdsay.
A hearing has been scheduled for December 14.
