DALLAS, TX – (WBAP/KLIF) – On Thursday Allen West filled his candidacy for chairman of the Dallas County Republican Party, where he will challenge the current incumbent Jennifer Stoddard-Hajdu.
West is a former Florida congressmen who also served as the Texas GOP chairman from July of 2020 to July of 2021. He also unsuccessfully ran against Governor Abbott in the 2022 gubernatorial primary.
Stoodard-Hajdu stated that she is looking forward to campaigning on her record, and financially stabilizing the party.
The election will take place on March 5th.
