(WBAP/KLIF) Connecticut – Henry Kissinger, who was a German-born American diplomat, academic and presidential adviser who served as secretary of state for two presidents has died today at at his Connecticut home at the age of 100.
His death was announced in a statement by his consulting firm, a cause of death was not given.
As a Jewish immigrant fleeing Nazi Germany, Dr. Kissinger arrived in the United States as a teenager in 1938. He rose quickly from Harvard undergraduate to Harvard faculty member before establishing himself in Washington.
He was the only person ever to be White House national security adviser and secretary of state at the same time.
