Keller ISD Selects Lone Finalist for Superintendent Job

(WBAP/KLIF) — Keller independent school district is three weeks away from hiring its next superintendent.

At a special meeting Monday, the Keller ISD Board of Trustees voted unanimously to select dr. Tracy Johnson as the district’s lone finalist for superintendent. Johnson is currently KISD’s Chief Human Resources Officer and will be the district’s first female superintendent in the district’s 112 year history. After a state-mandated 21-day waiting period, Johnson’s start date is tentatively expected to be January 2nd.

Education is a family affair for Johnson, as her husband Harold Johnson recently retired from Keller ISD after serving as a career and technical teacher.
