Toys-R-Us Has Returned to the Metroplex

DFW AIRPORT – (WBAP/KLIF) – On Monday Toys R’ Us opened it’s first ever airport location. Families who are traveling over the holidays will find the new toy store in Terminal A at DFW Airport.

Toys R’ Us filed for bankruptcy in 2017. The assets were then liquidated and eventually sold to WHP Global. Since acquiring the brand in 2021, WHP Global has opened a flagship location in New Jersey, and is planning on opening 24 additional brick and mortar stores in 2024. The company is also planning on opening additional Toys R’ Us locations in airports and even on cruise ships.
