DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF) – A world series berth for the Texas Rangers means more merchandise and more watch parties.
The extended post-season leads to a boost in the local economy as bars and restaurants make orders for another couple weeks of Rangers games.
Sporting goods stores across the metroplex adjusted their hours after the Rangers advanced to the world series to allow fans to get their hats and t-shirts right away.
Some fans waited in line overnight for stores to open.
