Authorities Searching for Missing Dallas ISD Educator Last Seen in Seagoville

SEAGOVILLE (WBAP/KLIF News ) – The search continues for a missing Dallas ISD educator who vanished after dropping off a friend in Seagoville in late September.

Authorities said 24-year-old Jennifer Mendez Olascoaga, a teacher’s assistant, was last seen on surveillance footage last Wednesday around 8 p.m. at the Creekside Mobile Home Park at 2510 Highway 175 near Modene Street.

Her family found her white 2015 Buick La Cross near the intersection of Milam Road and Lawson Road in Mesquite and filed a missing person’s report with Dallas police the next day.

Investigators say they can’t confirm if foul play is involved but are looking into strange text messages about Olascoaga that were sent to a friend of hers.

In a Facebook post, Seagoville Police said the messages “contained content that would lead one to believe that Jennifer’s disappearance may involve foul play.”

Her family said her unexplained disappearance is not considered normal behavior.

Seagoville police is working on the case and has requested the assistance of the Texas Rangers.

Anyone with information about her disappearance is asked to call Seagoville Police.
