(WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas based Southwest Airlines said over the weekend that a flight out of Texas was forced to make an emergency landing in Arkansas.

According to the airline, an unruly passenger is the reason why a plane traveling from Houston to Columbus, Ohio made an emergency landing in Little Rock over the weekend.

The crew reportedly followed protocol and safely diverted to the flight to Arkansas after observing unruly behavior from a passenger mid-flight. The passenger was removed from the plane by authorities after it landed, and was taken into custody.
