DALLAS (WBAP/KLIF News ) – The Dallas Police Department is asking the public to help catch the driver in a recent hit-and-run in Uptown.
It happened on Sunday, June 5, around 12:10 a.m. as a pedestrian was crossing the street at 3700 Cole Avenue just south of Blackburn Street.
Surveillance video shows a small, dark-colored SUV traveling northbound in the southbound lanes of Cole Avenue.
The driver didn’t stop to help the pedestrian after the incident and investigators said the vehicle appeared to have some damage on the front end.
The victim is hospitalized in critical condition.
