Oncor Makes Generous Donation to National Medal of Honor Museum

ARLINGTON (WBAP/KLIF) – As the nation recognized National Medal of Honor Day on Friday, Oncor announced a $1 million donation to the National Medal of Honor Museum Foundation.

Oncor’s contribution supports the design and construction of the National Medal of Honor Museum in Arlington, which broke ground Friday and is set to open in 2024.

“It’s an incredible honor for Oncor to be able to pay tribute to those who have given so much for our country and our freedom,” said Oncor CEO Allen Nye. “In supporting this one-of-a-kind memorial, we also wish to recognize the many members of the Oncor team and their families who have served – or are serving – our country. We stand beside our fellow Texans in recognizing the patriotism and valor of all Medal of Honor recipients and we look forward to celebrating the completion of this important and historic museum.”

The National Medal of Honor Museum will share stories of Medal of Honor recipients and illustrate the historical thread of sacrifice, patriotism and courage that runs through all U.S. military service members.
