
Houston (WBAP/KLIF) – Gov. Greg Abbott attended a Ukrainian Catholic church in Houston Sunday, the day the governor proclaimed a ‘Day of Prayer for Ukraine.’
The governor, who is Catholic told parishioners at the Pokrova Catholic Church in North Houston that he his wife have attended Catholic masses in many different languages, but never in Ukrainian. Abbott went on to speak of the unthinkable atrocities happening in Ukraine.

As part of the proclaimed ‘Day of Prayer for Ukraine’ in Texas, the Governor’s mansion was lit up in blue and yellow, the colors of the Ukrainian flag.
