Dallas (WBAP/KLIF) – Dallas Police have made an arrest in the killing of a woman who was shot at a motel near 635 and Walnut Hill Lane, then dumped at a hospital where she died. Alexander Escobar was arrested Saturday after crashing his vehicle while trying to overdose on methamphetamines. He went to jail for that, then was charged with the murder of the unidentified woman on Sunday. It’s not clear how police connected Escobar to the fatally wounded woman. They aren’t saying much about the case, other than a brief comment from detectives that Escobar has so far refused to speak to them at all.
