PLANO (WBAP/KLIF News) – It’s Giving Tuesday and organizations across North Texas are urging residents to help the community’s most vulnerable populations.
The North Texas Food Bank has partnered with HungerMitao to match any donation made today, December 1st, up to $100,000.
The food bank said the money will provide twice as many meals to residents.
The annual holiday comes at a time when the NTFB and other non profits are seeing a record surge in residents needing their help due to the ongoing financial impacts amid the coronavirus pandemic.

The North Texas Food Bank is one of many organizations that residents can donate to.
Anyone who wishes to donate can check with the non profit of their choice to find out how to give and which ones are matching donations.
