H-E-B Voluntarily Recalling Hill Country Juice Drinks Over Possible Milk Allergen

SAN ANTONIO  (WBAP/KLIF News) – The U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced San Antonio-based grocer H-E-B is voluntarily recalling gallon sizes of Hill Country Fare Pink Lemonade, Citrus Punch, Fruit Drink and Grape Drink for the potential presence of a milk allergen.

Milk allergies affect millions of Americans and the company said those who have them run the risk of serious or life-threatening reactions if they consume these products.

The affected products were shipped to H-E-B stores in Texas and Mexico and Joe V’s and Mi Tienda stores. Here are the list of products impacted.

HCF Pink Lemonade Gallon UPC Code: 4124005174 Code Date: 8/1/2020

HCF Citrus Punch Gallon     UPC Code: 4122081863 Code Date: 9/30/2020 and 10/1/2020

HCF Fruit Drink Gallon         UPC Code: 4122005172  Code Date: 8/1/2020 and 8/2/2020

HCF Grape Drink Gallon       UPC Code: 4122005176  Code Date: 8/2/2020

All of the affected products have been removed from store shelves.

Customers who bought the product can return it to the store for a full refund.

So far, no one has reported any illnesses from the recall.

The recall does not affect the aforementioned products sold at Central Market.
