Texas Senate Passes Measure Banning all THC Products in Texas.

AUSTIN – (WBAP/KLIF) – The Texas Senate has passed a state ban on all THC products after the push launched by Texas Attorney General Dan Patrick. The Texas House will vote on an alternative, imposing stricter oversight and licensing requirements for the hemp industry, rather than an outright ban on THC.

Senate Bill 3 would outlaw products with any amount of THC, including the popular Delta 8 and Delta 9 versions.

THC products are currently sold at more than 8,300 locations around Texas and online.

Patrick calls THC “poison in our public”, noting he believes the first responsibility of Texas lawmakers is that of “life and death issues”.
