(WBAP/KLIF) — A heart-warming story of an elementary school student in Denton county who saves a liter of kittens.
Ben is a student at Justin Elementary School and was playing outside his apartment complex, Wednesday night, when he noticed a sound coming from underneath a large storm grate that dropped five feet down.
Members of the Justin Fire Department removed the grate and crawled 6-feet through the storm drain to save the kittens. Ben was congratulated for his efforts by a crowd which had gathered for the rescue.
