AUSTIN – (WBAP/KLIF) – The Texas Senate has approved across the board pay raises for teachers.
Under the Senate plan, passed unanimously, $10,000 pay hikes would be awarded to teachers with five or more years experience, $2500 for those with three years time, and smaller pay hikes for those educators with less than three years in the classroom.
Senate Bill 26 now heads to the Texas State House for approval.
