(WBAP/KLIF) — The first measles case in Rockwall county has been confirmed. The Rockwall County Commissioners Court issued a statement on social media that a case of measles had been reported. According to the Rockwall County Health Authority, the infected person is an adult living within the county.
Meanwhile, in West Texas the measles outbreak has resulted in 124 cases, including the death of a school-age child who was not vaccinated. It’s the first death from measles in the U.S. since 2015.
