A Man Was Shot and Killed by Police After Crashing Into a Crowded Central Texas Mall

(WBAP/KLIF) – KILEEN, TX – Several mall shoppers in Central Texas are recovering after a man drove his truck straight through the glass doors of a JC Penny store striking multiple people. According to law enforcement officials, a 19 mile police pursuit ended with the truck traveling several hundred yards inside of the JC Penny store at the Killeen Mall. Four people were injured, and taken to the hospital while a fifth person went to the hospital on their own. Two off-duty officers were at that mall with their families and opened fire with other officers to stop the driver, who was killed at the scene.
