(WBAP/KLIF) – A new study finds that property taxes have gone up in nearly every major city in the country, and the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex is no exception. The real estate company, Redfin recently issued a new report listing the top ten median property tax rates from 2019 to today. Homeowners in Dallas are paying $573 dollars every month, which is up 41% in the past five years and puts the the city in tenth place. In Fort Worth homeowners are paying about $508 dollars a month, which is a 44% rise that placed it in eighth place on the same list.
