(WBAP/KLIF) — CNN and NBC News both have projected that Republicans will retain control of the House of Representatives, gaining a trifecta of the House, Senate, and Presidency.
Earlier on Wednesday, President-elect Trump met with President Biden at the White House, where Biden told Trump he’s looking forward to a “smooth transition” of power in January.
Meanwhile, Senator John Thune was elected by Senate Republicans as the Majority Leader, succeeding Mitch McConnell after 18 years.
