(WBAP/KLIF) – The Cowboys quarterback is suffering from a partial avulsion of the hamstring tendon, and is flying to New York to meet with a specialist to determine if surgery is required. Doctors with the Cowboys believe that the surgery is needed, and would sideline Prescott for up to four months. If Prescott is out for the remainder of the season, either Cooper Rush or Trey Lance would have to finish out the season. The 31-year-old quarterback was injured when he partially tore his hamstring against the Atlanta Falcons on November 3rd.
