FORT WORTH (WBAP/KLIF News ) – The rain conditions wreaked havoc on some North Texas roadways Thursday morning.
In Fort Worth, an 18-wheeler traveling north bound on I-35W plummeted off the overpass onto Everman Parkway.
The Texas Department of Transportation said the wreck caused two northbound lanes to shut down around 3:22 a.m.
Fort Worth police said miraculously, the driver was extricated from the wreckage and was not injured.
The wreckage was still blocking parts of Everman Parkway as of 6:21 a.m. However, Fort Worth police said the far left northbound lane is still open.
Driver are advised to avoid the area if possible.
