More Than 5,000 Globe Life Insurance Customers May Have Had Their Personal Information Compromised

(WBAP/KLIF) – In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission, Globe Life Insurance stated that someone hacked into their system, and is now seeking money in exchange for not releasing their customers personal information. The hacker is threatening to release social security numbers, addresses, an even health data from thousands of customers. The McKinney based company stated that it appears to be limited to customers of their subsidiary American Income Life Insurance. The company is notifying all customers who have been impacted.
