High School Students in Texas Can Now Find Out if They’ll Be Accepted to a University Before They Apply

(WBAP/KLIF) – Before they even fill out a college application, Texas high school students will now be able to see which of the state’s public universities would accept them based on their credentials. The new tool is called Direct Admissions. Students can enter their class rank, grade point average, and standardized test scores to get a list of universities to which they’d be admitted too. After a student learns which schools would accept them, they would still need to apply and fill out an application in order to verify their academic information.
