HOUSTON – (WBAP/KLIF) – A University of Houston and Texas Southern University survey takes a look at how registered Texan voters may make their mark.
Surveys of likely Texan voters were done before and after President Joe biden stepped aside, backing Vice President Kamala Harris as the Democratic party’s nominee. Margins in favor of the Democrats have narrowed; 49.5% of likely Texan voters surveyed favor Donald Trump and 44.6% for Harris; Harris taking a 4.6%boost for Harris as compared to the candidate Biden.
2% of likely Texan voters favored RFK Jr.; he is expected to step out of the race on Fridya and perhaps toss his support behing Trump. The at-times considered critical “Gen Z” voters, 50% view Harris favorably, and 43% view Trump favorably.
