Former Uvalde School Officer, Adrian Gonzalez Has Pleaded Not Guilty

(WBAP/KLIF) – UVALDE, TX – Adrian Gonzalez has been charged with 29 counts of abandoning and endangering a child for his alleged actions or lack thereof, during the Rob Elementary School shooting in 2022. The 29 counts are for each of the 19 children who were killed that day, and for 10 child survivors who were hurt in the shooting.

The indictment states that Gonzalez failed to engage the assailant after hearing the gunshots, and being told of the shooter’s general location. It also alleges that he failed to use his active shooter training. His attorney stated that the charge is a stretch, and that any evidence that would make him guilty of all these charges.
