(WBAP/KLIF) – DALLAS, TX – On Sunday morning, a fire engine lost control on the 75 overpass above Good Latimer Expressway. It broke through the guard rail and dropped more than 35 feet onto the DART tracks below.
A DART spokesperson stated that the track that the fire engine hit is impacting the entire network. Repairs are underway and may not be finished until Wednesday night. For now, shuttle buses will take riders from one station to the next while the rails are being repaired. City Place, Deep Ellum, the Arts District, West End Union Station, and Victory Station have all been affected.
