AUSTIN (WBAP/KLIF) – The Texas House Democratic Caucus has become one of the first state delegations to endorse Vice President Kamala Harris’ run for the presidency.
Just a day after President Joe Biden announced he was ending his re-election bid, the chair of the caucus, Trey Martinez Fischer, wrote on X that they are proud to be among the first state delegations to do so.
Harris is quickly garnering support from top democrats and could very quickly get enough support to become the presumptive nominee ahead of the Democratic National Convention which begins August 19th in Chicago.
