Trump Officially Accepts the Republican Presidential Nomination

(WBAP/KLIF) – MILWAUKEE, WI – For the first time since the assassination attempt, former President Trump spoke publicly at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee. In addition to accepting the Republican nomination for president Trump described the events of the attempted assassination on his life last Saturday, and thanked God for protecting him on that dreadful day.

During his speech he emphasized the importance of uniting the country, and outlined his plans to lower the cost of energy, end the inflation crisis, and cut taxes. He also announced plans to protect the southern border, stop illegal immigration, and finish the wall. Trump also stated that he would end the electric vehicle mandate, and bring auto manufacturing jobs back to the U.S.

Prior to the Donald Trump taking the stage, professional wrestler Hulk Hogan and the former presidents son Eric Trump spoke to the crowd. Kid Rock, and Lee Greenwood also preformed.
