(WBAP/KLIF) – TARRANT CO. – On Monday public health officials in Tarrant County stated that the patient contacted the more serious neuro-invasive form of the disease, which can be deadly. Symptoms include neck stiffness, disorientation, muscle weakness, and tremors.

Last May, authorities in Tarrant County reported the first positive mosquito pool for this season. The Texas Department of State Health Services has maps on their web site where you can track where the mosquitos are testing positive for the virus.
