Stormy Weather Leads to Havoc on DFW Roadways, High Water Rescue Calls

NORTH TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF News ) – Heavy rain and thunderstorms created issues for drivers and first responders across the Metroplex Wednesday morning.

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said 18-wheeler almost went over a downtown Dallas bridge. It happened along southbound Highway 75/I 345 near the Live Oak exit.

Fortunately, first responders were able to save the driver who was taken to a hospital for treatment. The crash caused heavy backups along the busy thoroughfare.
