NORTH TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF News ) – North Texans are dealing with yet another round of storms Wednesday morning.

The National Weather Service has issued a Flash Flood Warning for much of the DFW Metroplex until 8 a.m.

The area could get as much as 1 to 3 inches over the next few hours on ground that is already saturated from storms earlier this week.

First responders are asking drivers to use extra caution on their morning commutes. The Fort Worth Fire Department’s Captain Craig Trojacek said the roadways during heavy rain can be very deceptive.

“Just because a car or truck made it through ahead of you doesn’t mean your car will,” he said.

The storms caused a significant amount of power outages for Oncor customers.

According to Oncor’s outage map, more than 1100 homes and businesses are without power in Collin County. More than 6500 customers in Hopkins County are offline.

Customers in Grayson and Van Zandt County are also experiencing significant power outages.
