While Oncor Continues Restoring Power, City of Dallas Crews Are Still Clearing Debris From This Week’s Storms

(WBAP/KLIF) – According to Oncor, over 18,500 residents are still without power. Oncor officials stated that while power may be restored to some homes in a neighborhood, others may still be without power due to different circuits serving the area. Those outages could also be caused by damage to meters, or lines leading to the house, or damage to inside wiring. Officials also stated that any new storms, or severe equipment damage could also impact the schedule for full restoration of power.

City of Dallas response crews are still removing fallen trees out of major thoroughfares and residential roadways. Next week, city crews will begin to collect brush that has been cleared and stacked.
