DALLAS, TX – (WBAP/KLIF) – On Saturday Governor Greg Abbott addressed thousands of members of the national rifle association at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas.
At the convention Governor Abbott told the NRA members in attendance that protecting the second amendment is a top priority in Texas, and that during previous legislative sessions Texas passed more second amendment protections than any other state.
Abbott also stated that Texas is committed to protecting the southern border, and explained the effectiveness of Donald Trump’s policies such as ‘Remain in Mexico, Title 42, and ‘Catch and Release’. He also stated that to keep illegal migrants from coming into the country, Texas is going to finish building the border wall that was started by former President Trump.
