(WBAP/KLIF) – On Saturday, AT&T notified their customers of a major data breach involving 7.6 million account holders, and 65.4 million former account holders. The information that was leaked to the dark web was from 2019 and earlier, included sensitive customer data such as social security numbers, mailing addresses, e-mail addresses phone numbers, and birthdays. To protect customers, AT&T has already reset the pass codes of current users, and will be communicating with customers who’s private information was compromised.
