(WBAP/KLIF) – Victoria’s lawyers sent a demand letter to Prescott’s lawyers, which stated that in exchange for $100 million dollars she would not pursue criminal charges against him. Prescott not only denied the allegations, but he also filed a lawsuit against Victoria and her lawyers claiming to be the victim of extortion. He then filed a criminal police report against her for theft by coercion.
Victoria then filed a criminal police report against Prescott for sexual assault and also filed a lawsuit for sexual assault in civil court. The alleged assault happened seven years ago, which is past the civil statute of limitations in Texas for sexual assault. While Victoria is still within her time frame to pursue criminal charges against Prescott, too much time has passed legally for her to file a lawsuit in civil court.
Victoria’s lawyers argue that the statute of limitations should be extended because of how much time Prescott spends out of state. The suit demands money to cover Victoria’s past and future medical expenses, past and future pain and suffering, mental anguish, and all other relief at law or in equity to which the plaintiff is entitled.
