FRISCO, TX – (WBAP/KLIF) – On Thursday Frisco ISD held an emergency meeting where it spent more than two hours in executive session discussing whether to accept Paxton’s settlement or not. Ultimately, they decided in a six to zero vote to authorize the district’s attorneys to start negotiations with Paxton’s office.
Paxton’s lawsuit cites a series of posts published to the district’s social media accounts, encouraging voters to vote for candidates who support public schools and are against school vouchers.
Frisco ISD is just one of several districts that Paxton has accused of illegal electioneering ahead of Super Tuesday.
