The Texas Department of Transportation wants you to be safe over Spring Break.
According to the department, one person in Texas dies every seven hours in a DUI-alcohol related traffic crash.
And in 2022, 44 people were killed in DUI-alcohol-related crashes during the Spring Break holiday period.
Because of this, TxDOT is launching its statewide “Drive Sober. No Regrets” Spring Break drunk driving prevention campaign today, in an effort to remind drivers, especially college students,why they shouldn’t drive drunk.
