WFAA-TV – AT&T is pledging to offer customers a $5 credit on their bills which should be in effect within two billing cycles. The credit follows last week’s cut service, which the company has blamed on a coding error; saying nothing more. AT&T says the five dollars is about the cost of one day’s service.
As many as 73,000 customers of AT&T reported no service , but the number of those impacted is believed much higher. The issue not over, however; the Federal Communications Commission and Department of Homeland Security and FBI are investigating as well.
