Ellis County Sheriff’s Office to Provide Free Dog Vaccines

Calling all dog owners in Ellis County…

The SPCA of Texas and Ellis County Sheriff’s Office are banning together to provide free “combination” vaccines. This includes rabies vaccines and microchips for dogs.

Dog owners must show proof of residency to receive the free vaccines, and there is a limit of four adult dogs (four months and older) or two adult dogs and one litter of puppies per household.

Dogs must be on leashes.

A free pet food party will take place shortly after, but registration is required.

The free vaccination event will take place on Saturday, March 2nd from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Waxahachie’s Ellis County Expo Center.
