They’re working with the United States Marshalโs Service and Federal Bureau of Investigation-Dallas to locate and apprehend the suspect.
On November 20, 2016, at 5:42 a.m., officers responded to a call origination in a generalized street area. A female victim was found with multiple stab wounds and unable to speak to first responders.
The victim later stated that after coming back home around 3:00 a.m. after visiting a club in North Texas, 38-year-old Cesar Colin became angry and attempted to sexually assault her at knife-point, but she was able to get away and call 9-1-1. However, Colin warned if she called 9-1-1, he would kill her.
When the suspect heard the dispatcherโs voice on the phone, he began repeatedly stabbing the victim. He later fled the scene on foot and left the victim to die.
The victim survived, but has stated that since the incident, two men, who she believes were sent by Colin to kill her, have showed up at her doorstep. Colin was never located after the incident, but is believed to have family ties in both North Texas and Mexico.
Colin is a Hispanic male born on March 19, 1985. He is 5โ07, and weighs 170-180 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He is charged with Aggravated Assault Family Member with Deadly Weapon.
