LAKE WORTH, TX – (WBAP/KLIF) – Tarrant County is getting a new 911 call center. The Northwest Emergency Communications Center will be based in Lake Worth, however the operators working there will be responsible for getting help to people in a much larger area.
The cities of Lake Worth, Saginaw, Eagle Mountain Saginaw ISD are the first to consolidate 911 services. As more northwest cities join the consolidation, it will put local emergency responders on the same page, which will improve response times, and do away with callers being put on hold.
