Influenza Numbers Are on the Rise in Texas

(WBAP/KLIF) – According to Tarrant County Public Health more than 11% of all emergency room visits in Tarrant County hospitals were for an influenza like illness.

While levels aren’t quite as high as they were during this same time last year, the flu is rapidly spreading across both Tarrant County and the state of Texas.

Public health officials are recommending for all Texans to get vaccinated this flu season to reduce the risk of becoming seriously ill.
