Thousands of Residents to Participate in Thanksgiving Turkey Trots Across North Texas

NORTH TEXAS (WBAP/KLIF News ) – It’s Thanksgiving Day and thousands of North Texans are gathered at the Shops at Clear Fork in Fort Worth for the 42 annual YMCA Turkey Trot.

They’ll be participating in a series of runs with an altruistic spirit in mind.

The Fort Worth YMCA’s Jacqueline Kotar said all of the money raised from registration and merchandise will be put towards a good cause.

“We’re thrilled that all of our proceeds go back into the community. We offer financial assistance for membership and programs for everyone who wants to participate in YMCA programs throughout the year,” she said.
